Capler Private Equity Fund-of-Funds is the Dutch answer to the €5,000 private equity ticket: an open-ended fund for joint account launched in 2021 by Jelle Postma and Wessel Oosterman and managed by the AFM-licensed Elite Fund Management (established 1997), which spreads investors’ money across evergreen private equity funds from managers such as Partners Group, BlackRock and Schroders for exposure to more than 500 companies. The target is 9.3% to 12% a year net; in 2025 the underlying open-ended funds returned 17.4% in dollar terms. Costs are the catch: a 3.95% entry fee, a 1.5% annual management fee plus the underlying funds’ charges, an exit fee of up to 5% that falls away after seven years, a three-year lock-up and thereafter quarterly redemptions capped at 5% of fund assets.
