Overview
The BB Capital Private Equity Fund pioneered the evergreen private equity fund-of-funds in the Netherlands at its launch in 2018, opening a market previously reserved for institutional investors to Dutch private investors. Capital is invested in an active, diversified portfolio of high-quality international private equity funds from day one.
Investment Strategy
The fund allocates across established international private equity managers, spreading commitments over strategies and vintages. It targets a net return of 10-15% per year and reports a realised return of 13.3% per year since inception.
Structure and Terms
- Evergreen fund-of-funds - no fixed maturity

Liquidity
Entry into the active portfolio is possible on an ongoing basis. Investors can exit after five years while the fund retains its evergreen character; the fund facilitates exits.

Aimed at Dutch private investors, entrepreneurs and family offices seeking long-term private equity exposure with periodic income. The manager, BB Capital Management B.V., holds an AIFM licence (article 2:65 Wft) and is supervised by the AFM.
